Registration and Tuition 2026-2027 School Year
There is a $25 registration fee for each student. (Additional siblings qualify for a discounted registration fee of $10). Tuition will be charged once each month from September through May (for a total of nine payments). There is a 5% tuition discount if you pay for the entire school-year before October 1st, and a 10% tuition discount for siblings (sibling discount will be automatically applied). - Ballet Basics (1 hour class once a week): $60/month

- Rec Ballet 1 (1 hour class once a week): $60/month
- Rec Ballet 2 (1 hour class once a week): $60/month
- Rec Ballet for Teens & Adults (1 hour class once a week): $60/month
- Accelerated Track Pearl Level (2 hours of class each week): $110/month
- Accelerated Track Poppy Level (3 hours of class each week): $150/month
- Accelerated Track Lavender Level (4 hours of class each week): $185/month
- Accelerated Track Juniper Level (5.5 hours of class each week): $235/month
- Accelerated Track Garnet Level (7.5 hours of class each week): $295/month
- Accelerated Track Iris Level (7.5 hours of class each week): $295/month
- Accelerated Track Opal Level (9 hours of class each week): $350/month
Accelerated Track students are invited to take lower level Accelerated Track classes at no extra cost.

Performance Opportunities
The Nutcracker
Tentative Performance Date: December 12, 2026
Primary Ballet and Heber Valley Ballet are thrilled to present our first-ever full-length production of The Nutcracker!
This exciting performance opportunity is an optional add-on that will require an audition (tentatively scheduled for September 12), as well as additional rehearsal time outside of regular class schedules. Participants should expect additional rehearsal and performance fees associated with this production.
Many details are still being finalized, and more information will be shared as soon as it becomes available. Casting will be open to dancers ages 6 and up.
Spring 2027 Story Ballet: Cinderella
We are excited to announce that our Spring 2027 story ballet will be Cinderella! All Primary Ballet students are invited to help bring this beloved fairy tale to life on stage. Most rehearsals will take place during the last few minutes of class time, beginning in March. Cinderella performance dates are still being determined and details will be announced as they are finalized.
Associated Performance Fees for Cinderella are:
- Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet Basics, Ballet 1, and Ballet 2: $75 performance/costume fee
- Accelerated Track students: $85 performance/costume fee (There is no performance/costume fee for Heber Valley Ballet Company members.)
Calendar
The 2026-2027 Season will run on a 9-month schedule, with classes commencing August 31, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027. We observe Wasatch County School District’s Schedule. Regular classes will not be held on:
- September 7 (Labor Day)
- October 12-16 (Fall Break)
- November 25-27 (Thanksgiving Break)
- December 22-January 1 (Holiday Break)
- January 18 (MLK Day)
- February 15 (President’s Day)
- March 11-12 (Professional Development Days)
- April 5-9 (Spring Break)
Dress Code
Girls Attire
Beginning & Foundational Classes (Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet Basics, Ballet 1 and Ballet 2) are required to wear a black leotard, pink ballet tights, and split-sole canvas ballet slippers. So Danca or Capezio Hanami ballet slippers are preferred. Please do not order leather or plastic ballet slippers.
Rec Ballet 1 and Rec Ballet 2 are required to wear a black leotard, pink ballet tights, So Danca or Capezio Hanami ballet slippers. Rec Ballet 3 (Adult Ballet ages 14+) can wear ballet slippers with comfortable work-out clothes or a leotard and tights.
Accelerated Track students are required to wear a specific class leotard (information included in enrollment materials, and at this link). They are also required to wear So Danca or Capezio Hanami ballet slippers, and pink or skin-colored ballet tights. Ballet slippers and tights must match. Use this link to shop for class leotards.
Hair secured away from the face, either in ballet bun or pinned up braids.
No skirts, except for short ballet skirts in pointe classes.

Boys Attire
Black shorts that accommodate movement (sweat shorts, basketball shorts, etc.).

Heber Valley Ballet Company
We are excited to announce that the 2026–2027 season will mark the inaugural year of our performing company, Heber Valley Ballet. This nonprofit youth company is being created to provide a higher level of training, more performance experiences, and greater artistic development, while enriching the broader community.
Company members can look forward to:
- Additional performance opportunities, including consideration for principal & solo roles in story ballets such as The Nutcracker and our spring production.
- Rehearsals outside of regular class time that build discipline, consistency and professional work habits.
- Opportunities to work with guest choreographers.
- Performances at community events and a Repertory show in late winter.
- A goal-setting program including regular one-on-one meetings with directors.
- Optional ensemble participation at ballet competitions for Senior Company members.
- Exposure to a wider range of repertoire, including contemporary ballet.
- Mentorship for students considering dance beyond high school, offering insight into collegiate and professional pathways.
The Company is available by audition or director placement and is open to dancers ages 12 and up who are training on pointe and demonstrate a strong level of technical ability and commitment. For more information about Company requirements and opportunities, please contact us.
